Learn how to make a cabochon (a polished, domed oval stone with a flat back). Starting from a slice of stone, we will cut, shape and polish to a finished cabochon (actually a couple at least). We will discuss the difference between a free form and calibrated cabochon. Also information on the MOHS hardness scale will be provided. All materials will be provided for the class, plus lunch!

approx. 5 hours with breaks and food.
